Careers in Finance is here and designed to solve one of the biggest challenges facing our profession - getting talented people through the door.
The problem isn't a lack of interest. Whenever we open a training programme or a graduate hire, we receive hundreds of applications. The real barrier is that candidates simply can't find the firms willing to give them that first foot in the door. The Careers in Finance platform is built to change that, connecting entry-level candidates directly with financial services firms looking to hire.
The platform has been developed in partnership with Striver, an Australian company with thirteen years of experience tackling the same talent challenges overseas.
The numbers speak for themselves - since our Foundation launched in 2021, we've funded 167 people into careers in finance, with over 70% female participation, against a sector average of around 20%. As a not-for-profit, recruitment fees go straight back into funding more training places, creating a virtuous circle that benefits the whole profession.
For candidates, the platform is permanently free. For firms, annual access fees are currently waived until 1 August 2026 (use code FREELAUNCH at sign up), with a fee of £750 per successful hire - a significant saving compared to the 20–25% of first-year salary typically charged by traditional recruiters.
Since launch, over 60 firms have registered, with more than 50 candidates building profiles and a dozen jobs already posted.
