Episode 11

00:44:04

Do people still fall into finance, or are they choosing it?

What does it take to build a career - and a business - in financial planning? That's the focus of the season finale with host Cathi Harrison and co-hosts Ilana Miller and Hannah Pendlebury.

Looking back over ten episodes, they reflect on the stories they've heard from career changers and business founders. Ilana explores the shared values that ran through very different personal journeys, while Hannah reflects on the sleepless nights, income drops, and vital support networks behind starting a business.

They also dig into some of the season's biggest debates: whether paraplanning should be a mandatory step to advising, whether qualifications go far enough, and whether people still fall into finance - or are choosing it more intentionally than the industry's favourite cliché suggests.
